I am a multimedia carver, working mostly with jade (greenstone or Pounamu). The flowing forms you see in my work are perhaps a result of being born under the sign of Cancer and having a love of dolphins, whales and fish. In 1994, I was introduced to traditional Maori musical instruments (Taonga Pūoro) - and was captivated. Since then they have been a large part of my focus.
